Badass Lady Gang has been organizing weekly group runs in six cities across the US and Canada since 2019, and we’re here to make sure that whether you're a 9-minute miler or a 29-minute miler, you're never left behind.

Our group runs are designed to help women connect, get active, and have fun—no matter how fast you go. From speed play sessions to relaxed jogs, you’ll experience the thrill of running with a supportive gang that’s always in your corner. Whether you walk, jog, or sprint, you’ll always be within earshot of the group, ensuring no one ever feels alone.

There’s nothing we love more than watching our athletes chase down their goals. Regardless of what that goal is: If you want to like yoga, run a marathon, become a runner, or feel stronger and more energetic, we’re here to guide you, help you, and support you every step of the way.

We’ve designed our plans, practices, and experiences with the everyday runner in mind because too many running plans and programs were created by professional or elite athletes who don’t know what it feels like to be terrible at running. We get struggle runners. We get women who are spread too thin and won’t be able to do their training perfectly.

Meet coach Kelly

Kelly Roberts, head running coach, and creator of the Badass Lady Gang is the Self Proclaimed Former President of the ‘I F*cking Hate Running Club’. Before her BALG days, Kelly's fitness routine consisted mainly of forced gym sessions fueled by a desire to shrink her body. However, it wasn't until she entered post-college life, armed with a theatre degree, student loans, and an uncertain future that she discovered the transformative power of running.

Kelly's running philosophy measures success by the confidence gained, not pounds lost.

Kelly is an RRCA-certified running coach and has completed Dr. Stacy Sims' 'Women Are Not Small Men' certification course, enhancing her ability to better serve female athletes. Kelly has coached thousands of women, from struggle runners to those striving for Boston Marathon qualifying times. Her achievements include gracing the cover of Women's Running Magazine, over a decade of sponsorships and partnerships with brands like Nike, Adidas, Oiselle, and Under Armour (to name a few), and founding the Sports Bra Squad, a global movement empowering body image through sport.
